Kyle Wesely, CPA

A married father of a growing little boy, Kyle aspires to amplify his positive impact on the world by assisting clients achieve their charitable goals. He has been working in the public accounting industry for ten years, and joined Tom in 2017. When not working or on dad-duty, you’ll often find him on the golf course, on a road or mountain bike, playing hockey, or thinking about a future trip to a mountain destination.

Kyle teaches the tax module of the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CPSG) certification operated by the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and hosted by California State University, Long Beach. He also currently serves as the treasurer of the Minnesota Gift Planning Association and on the finance committee at Mendakota Country Club. He holds bachelors degrees in both accounting and information systems from Iowa State University.

Tom Wesely, CPA

A married father of two, including Kyle, Tom has dedicated over 40 years of his life to assisting clients with their charitable goals. He has a near unparalleled depth of knowledge on charitable gift planning in the public accounting industry. Tom takes great pride in the impact he has made and continues to make. When out of the office, you will often find him enjoying beautiful sunsets at his lake cabin, on the golf course, playing a racquet sport, or otherwise enjoying outdoor activities.

Tom was director of the Minnesota Planned Giving Council and chaired its education committee from 1998-2003, served on the planning committee for the National Conference on Philanthropic Planning in 2009 and 2011, and received the Clinton A. Schroeder Distinguished Service Award from the Minnesota Gift Planning Association in 2017. He has presented over 60 tax and charitable planning seminars for a wide range of organizations.

He holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
